I'm feeling the Christmas Spirit today everyone! So that means it's time for a giveaway! I have a terrific book by Diane Morgan, called "the christmas table", that has great recipe and craft ideas. To have a chance at winning this lovely little book, all you have to do is this: leave a comment on this post with your name, email address, or a link to your site, and tell me what your favorite holiday tradition is! Is it a favorite cookie you bake, a family tradition you keep... I want to know! It'll be neat to see and share what everyone does! And hey, if the book is not your cup of tea, it'll make a great gift to pass along to someone else! Contest ends this Sunday evening at 6 p.m. Pacific Standard Time! Good luck everyone!

yay..me first! my favorite Christmastime tradition is baking drunken kolachki's. The recipe is top secret and every year I make enough for all of my neighbors and hubby's co-workers. They're always a big hit and people always try to figure out what's in them. My second fav is homemade gingerbread houses. The kids and I design and bake them, then decorate, yet my kids seem to have a distorted view and one, if not all will make a poor little gingerman killing another one and leave a trail of blood. Last year Tatiana made a gingerbread guillotine.
My favorite Christmas tradition is going over to my in-laws on the first weekend of December to put up the Christmas tree. We all help out to make appetizers and baked goods. While we eat, we put up the tree and listen to Christmas music. It is a lot of fun. Thanks for the chance!

My favorite tradition is to wake up early before the kids and try and make enough noise to get them up!! LOL I could never wait even as a child.
My favorite thing about Christmas is baking the Kolachki's and the cherry ball's. My dad always steals them when my mom's not looking but he always get's caught.
My favorite thing about Christmas is being able to make really awesome French Revolution based gingerbread scenes. I also love to give people presents!!!! That's the best thing about Christmas to me.
